I do have jars up to four ounces, which last a LONG time, even used all over every day. Last night I listed some 2-ounce sizes, but honestly I think you should TRY this smaller size first. See if it helps at all before you commit even MORE credits to a larger size. Even this small amount wiil go a LONG way.

For fibro try rubbing this on palms, bottoms of feet, wrists, belly and thyroid area of the throat. These locations will allow the essential oils to enter the bloodstream better than on arms and legs. Also use it on any "hot spots."

I get it, I really do. I rub body butter all over my arms and legs several times a day, just for the wonderful skin healing. I have really bad scars on my arms and legs and they seem to be getting MUCH better after doing this for about two months, which amazes me!

I DO plan to offer the larger 4-ounce size once I figure out if people are willing to pay for it on Listia. At craft fairs 4 ounces of body butter that is NOT infused with healing essential oils and extracts sells for $15 to $20. That's why I decided to start making my own!

The way I'm making these body butters is very expensive. They work great tho ... and the larger sizes will be more expensive to ship.

Check out my 2-ounce listings ... just started those last night. Search "natahoa body" and list them "newly listed" and you see them at the top of the search page.

I have JUST started studying it because I decided to make my own body butter, then decided to add scents, then decided to learn about essential oils, and NOW I'm learning all about the interactions of herbs and oils. WOW ... it's like going to college again, but I love it.

If you have ANY recommendations for me, for mixes that have worked for you for any type of ailment, please let me know! I'm using Kurt Schnaubelt's NEW book on essential oils, and Stephen Buhner's "bible" on herbal antibiotics ... both are very technical and I don't know much about chemistry, so it's a challenge. They have a LOT of information, but unfortunately neither book is well indexed.

But honestly, I have so many different oils in this mix it might help just about anyone with an auto-immune issue. But I can customize it for you, so do a little research and let me know what you think might help!

The arnaca gel works immediately only not as long lasting. The shots are steroids with terrible side effects. I over heard a lady saying top take turmeric for arthritis and fibro. She sprinkles it on every dish. I'm definitely going to bid on the other lotions you have listed. Thank you.Great feedback. I'm impressed

Tumeric is a very powerful herb that is good for a LOT of things, a popular cooking seasoning. You can buy to use in food, but my guess is that buying an extract to take as a "pill" would be more potent.

Steroids help get your adrenals working to produce more cortisone in your body. We just found out my 21-year-old daughter has adrenal issues (we though it was heart problems, for four years we've been worried about her having a heart attack). I've found an herb that supposedly can increase adrenal function, called ashwagandha ... I've got some on order for my daughter.

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes so I also had MY adrenals tested. Haven't gotten the results back yet ... but the entire endochrine system works together. It's very complicated, not easy to figure out, but I'm trying to develop some strategies to help with my diabetes ... mostly trying to eat better ... less sugar and as few carbs as possible (rice and pasta are the worst).

Thanks mama ... yes, these ingredients should help a variety of issues. I already have a bunch of GIN listings for fibro and other body butters. Just search "natahoa body" to see them all. I'm relisting them after they sell ... I have plenty for everyone!

Wow, never heard of bersa ... is it helping? Arnica I don't have, I looked it up and it is recommended for muscle pain. You can get it on Amazon in a variety of different formulas. It is an extract, which I use in my body butters, but you can take it several times a day by mouth. I actually have some tumeric on order but wasn't aware it was recommended for fibro. I will probably adjust the formula as I go along and learn more about it.

And I hope that EVERYONE who wins one of these body butters from me reports back (after giving it some time to work) and lets me know if it helps, or not.

I am wondering why you say not to use essential oils on animals...we have a class at my groomers who uses the oils on all the dogs especially the ones like mine with allergies to the shampoos. They are great for itchy skin on dogs too. We also teach using the oils on the bottom of baby's feet for upset stomach, and around their ear for ear ache and many other uses to make your baby feel better. The oils are used with a carrier oil so they are not so strong on baby's sensitive skin. You can look online for info on both. Thanks, Vanessa

Primarily the concern is cats. Dogs can eat or process just about anything, but cats metabolize differently so you can shouldn't give them ANYTHING other than cat food (or meat) without specific instruction from a vet. Having said that, I have three old cats and am looking into various herbals that can be used for them.

As far as children, I found a story about a women who loved lavender and was using some sort of lavender on her twin 4-year-old boys. They BOTH got breast enlargement. After what I am SURE was a lengthy and frustrating medical experience, they determined it was the lavender. As soon as she stopped using it, the breasts went back to normal. LOTS of people love lavender, but it is estrogenic (as well as most of the chemicals we use in our homes, most cleaners etc. are estrogenic, it's really scary).

I agree that essential oils probably are ok to use for children and babies for some things, but it's really important to be educated and very conservative about it.

So, in terms of being a Listia seller, I want people to understand that they should NOT use this stuff on animals, children or if pregnant unless they do some research first!

Your probably right to be cautious here.:-) also I have fibro had it since the 1980's I finally found something that almost eliminates the pain. I take 500mg of Magnesium Citrate, 1000mg of vitamin C, 5000mg of vitamin D every day. I had horrible leg and feet cramps most of my life too, they are so rare now I don't remember when I had the last one. Maybe this will help some of the other Fibro suffers out their. Thanks, Vanessa

Thanks Vanessa, I'm SO glad you found a treatment that works. Maybe someone will see your message and also try it. If you are aware of any essential oils or herbal extracts that might help fibro used on the skin, please let me know!

I just got a BUNCH of new oils in the mail so I plan to "upgrade" my fibro mix the next time I make it. Even if it doesn't make a lot of difference in the pain, my body butter is fabulous lotion ... everyone who tries it loves it. So give it a try one of these days if you'd like to ... I can make any mix you'd like, any fragrance that I have!

Here are some single oils you can add to your Fibro mix...Frankincense, wintergreen (really good for pain) copaiba, German chamomile, nutmeg and Idaho Balsam Fir also Helichrysum (for pain), Lemongrass for getting rid of toxins and negative energy hope this helps...
Feb 11th, 2015 at 2:51:26 PM PST by

I just got some copaiba on the advice of a Listian ... thanks so much, I'm making a list for my Vanbehrens fibro mix! Clove is really good for pain also ... I don't have wintergreen, only peppermint at the moment, and I don't add this because it might be too stimulating, IMO ...I think the lemongrass is considered a stimulating oil also, although I like the lemon smell (Lemon is relaxing, I've read, while lemongrass is stimulating ... but everyone LOVES it, that's for sure!

Peppermint is, however, recommended as an analgesic. I also got some white willow bark to add as an analgesic (painkiller). It gets pretty confusing ... Lemon Balm (Melissa) also is a relaxing oil. It doesn't really smell like lemon, but it is a nice sweet fragrance.

Keep the ideas coming!

Kali .. I also have these available with Get it Now, so you can win a body butter at any time. I can customize it for you, or send one of the mixes I have made up. To be honest, my GIN prices are more expensive than this listing, and I'll probably bump up the prices after my current listings sell.

So you might want to take advantage of my current GINs ... I'm re-evaluating because this stuff is very expensive to make. If I can win enough Amazon gift cards with Listia credits to pay for the supplies, I can keep going, but gift cards have gotten really high the last few months so I'm not breaking even any more ...

Hi Natahoa!!!! Great to see you!! Love this listing, and definitely gonna check out your others. I have a couple friends with bad nerve damage. Thinking about trying this for them...well, getting it for them I mean. I could use the 'butter' on my NE Pa skin! Yuck! Hate this cold weather!
I had taken a break from Listia, and when I started back I couldn't believe how every auction I looked at,people were doing the 'f&w please fan back' stuff and I had the same reply, --I don't fan until I have had a positive transaction with you--I see that's how many of us 'older' Listians think.
So nice to see you again!! Tanya

The whole fanning thing drives me crazy. I just don't see the point. As soon as Listia started it (maybe two years ago now) EVERYONE was asking EVERYONE to fan them ... I mean what's the point ???

Don't get me started ...

NICE to see you back, I hope you are enjoying LIstia. Have you noticed the extreme Listinflation that has happened in the last few months ... wowzer, prices have gone WAY up.

ANY of my body butters will give your dry skin LOTSA love ... everyone loves them in my family and circle of friends. Essential oils and herbals can apparently really help with some ailments.

I'm asking all my body butter winners to let me know if it seems to help after a week or two ... I know fibro is very difficult to "treat", but read some of the other comments here for some good information on fibro strategies ...

Fibro is actually an auto-immune disease, so this could help people with a wide range of symptoms.

Thank you so much!

I am going to make a body butter specifically for auto-immune issues. Most recommended oils are much the same for all of the auto-immune diseases, so I think it could be helpful for a wide range of people.

We went out with friends last night and it turns out she has scleroderma, another auto-immune disease. Even allergies and arthritis are considered auto-immune involved, so I think a catch-all balm might be a good way to keep things simpler, in terms of mixes. I really have to cut down on all the bright ideas that keep popping in my head ... too much to keep track of!

What do you think of that idea? I'd really like to have your opinion.

Wow (teary eyed) what a wonderful compliment! I feel the same way about the stuff you have on Listia. I am SO new to this, but as with MOST hobbies I've adopted over the years I'm going WAY overboard, trying to learn everything all at once. I just bought another very scientific book specifically on essential oils, and am finding a lot of common threads in what various authors recommend.

It is so fascinating... thanks again for such a wonderful testimonial!

Feb 4th, 2015 at 4:12:10 AM PST by

It's at least an ounce ... I think I was mistaken and it might actually be 2 ounces. I just got some new containers that I KNOW are 2 ounces and I'm going to compare them to check on the actual volume (it's liquid volume, not weight). But a little goes a long way. This container should last quite a while if you are using it primarily on areas that have pain. If you slather it all over your body, it will go more quickly ... but still lasts a long time for the size of the container. You'll be surprised!
