I see the Notr Dame in there. My mom was from France. My Granpere was in the French militaire and he was a Forest Ranger after WWI. My mom was in the French Resistence during WWII. One of those men in that photo of the militaire looks like it could be my grandpere. i am watching, bidding and fanning. Hope you'll fan back.

You earn credits by listing items for "sale". You also earn credits by answering questions that people ask, checking in every day, and just about everything you do on Listia. I'm not sure what the pluses are for. As far as I know, they do nothing. You browse what other people are "selling" and depending on how many credits you have will depend on whether you have enough credits to bid. When your items sell, then you get the credits for what your item sold for. then you have those credits too. Each time you auction an item you get the credits for that item. You also get credits for shipping your item out. You get credits for leaving feedback for your buyers. You get credits for leaving remarks here too. there are lots of ways to earn them so keep working on it.

If you list something, you have a better chance of selling if you offer free shipping. i started out with small items and am gradually building up to larger items. if you are unsure of what to charge for shipping, take your item packaged for shipment (after you take pics) to your post office and ask them to tell you what it will cost to ship then list it with correct shipping costs. if you charge inflated shipping rates people wont bid cuz everyone on here ships and knows the costs of shipping. if you have to buy supplies (bubble wrap, peanuts etc) its ok to include that just let them know what has increased the cost.

you can change/ edit your auction until there is a bid. once a bid is placed you cant alter the description or add pics.

you get experience points for logging in (1 x daily) you get credits for bidding sometimes and you always experience points for your first several bids on an item. if you list an auction with free shipping (after you get your sellers badge!i think) you will get 15 credits for 2 auctions listed per day. there is a lot more info to share but if you read the "how it works" at the bottom of the page it will give you more info.
