The goody quick style paddle brush allows you to go from wet to beautifully styled hair faster than ever. Super absorbent microfiber bristles remove 30% of water as you style. It's like a towel and a brush in one. The absorbent microfiber bristles remove 30% of water for faster styling. The microfiber is antimicrobial so it keeps your brush fresh. The brush also features side vents to allow for maximum air flow while you brush. The brush is light weight and helps reduce hand fatigue while drying. The handle has a comfortable ergonomic textured design to give you extra grip. You simply use the quick style brush as you would your usual brush. To help speed your styling, the brush is designed for detangling wet hair and quick removal of excess water. The brush will dry following use, but a blast of hot air from your dryer will speed the drying of the microfiber bristles. If the microfiber bristles begin to look a little flat, simply pull out the excess hair and wash the bristles with warm water and shampoo.

Great question! Tough answer…lol…it does speed up the time it takes for your hair to dry, but it doesn't dry it completely. My daughter has a little longer than shoulder length fine hair and we have found that it does make the job quicker, especially at night when it's close to bedtime. It really does a great job pushing/absorbing so it ends up dripping a lot less. Goody says it's 30% faster than just letting your hair air dry….I think that's pretty accurate. With the length of your hair, you would probably be brushing it more than most, but I think it would work just as well….just more strokes. I hope that helps :D The reviews I've read online have been pretty positive as well.

I have this exact hair brush & while a hairbrush is a hairbrush, i like mine. My daughter & i both use it & compared to that new one thats supposed to take out knots easily, i have both & both work the same on our long thick hair. But like i said, a hairbrush is a hairbrush, if you get a good one, like this one, you will be happy but it wont do miracles ( which is what the knot free one is supposed to do & it doesnt) lol watching & hopefully bidding cuz id like another :-)

People just need to realize it's not a 'magic' brush...lol It dries your hair faster, not instantly My daughter and I both use it and we have been very happy with the results. Good luck if you decide to bid!
