They also look great in a small glass dish on a coffee table as a conversation piece. I can imagine all the varieties. I've never tried to crochet with thread altho I have all the materials. I seem to stick with granny squares...lol

I do all kinds of crochet, but thread crochet is my first love. I learned with thread from my grandmother when I was 8- she did a lot of doilies.
