Description

The listing, Rare ✽ GINGERSNAP ✽ All-Purpose Tomato ✽ 15 Seeds ✽ Organic Artisan has ended.

Gingersnap is an exciting new artisan regular-leaf tomato with 6-8 oz. round deep orange fruits. This was a favorite of mine for canning, as the skins were easy to remove and the flesh stayed fresh and firm. This makes a beautiful addition to salsa, tomato juice blends, and sauces. I hope to win awards next year when I enter my salsa in the county fair. This is excellent fo markets, as the fruit is uniform, unblemished, and perfect. You will love the flavor, and you will have plenty to give away to friends! Bred by Millard Murdock in North Carolina. This is a great chance to get a rare artisan tomato before it is even registered!

This Auction: You will be receiving 15 seeds from my garden. They will be sent First Class mail for FREE in the United States. I only take Paypal for International bidders. I will also combine any additional auction seeds (within 5 days) for no additional shipping charge. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 65°F in the spring. Excellent for beginners!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 2-3 seeds per pot and thin to one plant per container. After four weeks, transplant seedlings to larger pots, and about 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny, highly composted location when soil temperatures are at least 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Stake or cage the plants for support and to prevent sprawling on the ground.

No, there are no GMO tomatoes. No worries, I would never grow any GMO crops.
