The listing, Belson Curling Iron "gold n hot" Great Condition! has ended.

Up for auction is this Belson gold and hot curling iron. This has been used only a few times and has very few flaws in the rod as I tried to show in the pictures. It is a 1" rod as far as I know but I do not have the original box. The cord is 8' long (yes, I said eight feet!). The heat dial on the cord works perfectly to adjust heat and turn it on and off. Please ask questions before bidding as I do not except returns on any items unless they are damaged. All rules for Listia yet apply to this auction. Free shipping to United States addresses only. Wow, I've never seen a curling iron with a temp control!! Does it get very hot?

Yes it sure does! I checked it out the other day and it got very hot on the highest setting. I put the control down to four and the rod got cooler quickly. It is a nice curling iron! Thanks for your interest!

I'm not sure that's true. I don't have the original box. This was owned by my stepdaughter and used by her. She is Caucasian. Dark brown thick hair. I think it's ok for all hair types if you know what you are doing with hair.

If what bny said is true then I definitely need to get my hands on this! I have the same problem, no curling iron gets hot enough for my hair. I look like Diana Ross before I straighten it lol..

I'm a Professional Cosmetologist with Mongolian hair :) Sure any one can use it, but it was designed for Professional Use on Mongolian hair :) I love it :)

I can only agree with you as I have zero experience with most hair accessories. I do think it's a good iron. It certainly gets hot. Good luck in the auction!

Thanks :) I can't use regular irons on my hair, they don't get hot enough. The curl just doesn't hold at all :(

Emilydevine1 ~ I will say again, yes you can use the low settings on Caucasian hair ~ but this model ~ of this brand ~ is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED for those with ethnic hair ~ hair that is thicker & more coarse & therefore NEEDS more heat than Caucasian hair! It gets so hot on the high settings that it will damage Caucasian hair!!
