Sorry, but if it's not real gold....things WERE only set in real valued metals.. I'm sorry Honey. It could have been said more delicately instead of this "poof" nonsense! I'm sorry somebody did/said something like that! Sometimes I think some people, like, browse and say things just to be mean. I'm new and someone did something like that to me too! It's mean and nasty and they're not out to bid anyway. Probably a disgruntled seller, buyer or just DOESNT WANT COMPETITION. Check whatever they are selling! See if that's the case. Babediamond is absolutely correct. I am a collector. Nobody is trying to be mean or negative. I know you can only go on it being handed down to you. It is still vintage.

I'm sorry I wasn't meaning to be negative, I was stating a fact is all. Your aunt can tell you the same story, it still is not an Antique Victorian Brooch, if you want to state that is is a "Reproduction" of one, then you would be correct, but a true Antique, No it is not. >>>>poof
