Vintage Winchester Rifle Belt Buckle.
Measures 3"W x 2"H or, for those who grew up on the decimal system 72.87 MM W X 52.32 MM H. So much for decimals being easier.

The buckle does have some wear on the front that you can see in the photos. I believe this buckle is dated in the Mid 1970s' .

"The gun that won the west" is what it says.

"The gun that killed a lot of people" is what it should say.And, "Won" is used very loosely here, "stole?" perhaps. So my interpretation: "The gun that stole the west by killing a lot of unarmed people" Yee haw fellas. Get 'em.

I'm not saying its not a good gun, hell ya its a great gun but there is evil lurking in the history of this rifle...just ask Sarah Winchester whos inheritance of the fortune form this rifle drove her batty thinking she was haunted by the spirits of the people killed by this modern marvel. Maybe she was who knows.. . I have visited her house and its amazing. if you have a chance to stop by there someday, do, its worth a looksie.
