*Sorry those of you who were watching on the 3 day sale. Someone wanted to GIN this item. So, I did it this way so that the watcher's names wouldn't be lost.

This is an embossing folder which I call "Lighthouse." This measures about 5 3/4 in long by about 4 1/4 in. This is a brand new embossing folder by Darice. It can be used on most embossing machines although I tend to use mine on Anna Griffin's cricut machine made by Provocraft.

This would look so cute for cards or scrapbooking those special moments such as for Father's Day. You can use it to make those Father's Day cards. The embossing folders for men are harder to find, but this is one that can be used for a man. It can also be used as a Christian symbol.

If you need some help learning embossing techniques, there are lots of demonstration videos on you-tube and by Tim Holtz on timholtz.com. Tim likes to use a light sander to gently rub the top of the embossed item to make it pop. Anna Griffin does the same thing, but she likes to also use a brayer and put washable metallic ink in the folder then run it through the embossing machine. Then, just wash off the ink. She also will use an ink pad and just dab the top of an embossed image.
