How do you know that this is from the 40's? Is there a 1940's date on the package? Your photo doesn't show a date on the packaging. Please prove your claim for the age of this item. I still think that you need to add photos that show the front and the back of the actual package the winner will receive. This is especially important when you are selling an item that you are promoting as being "VINTAGE." All of the packages in your photo are not in identical condition, as some look yellowed. I have no way of knowing, if I bid and win, that I will receive one of the non-yellowed packages or not. I think that this trim is very pretty and I am interested in bidding on it. I just want to be sure that I know EXACTLY what I would be bidding on, as that will affect the amount I would be willing to bid. And, I'm sure that it matters to other potential bidders, as well. So, please be more specific. Thank you.
All the packages are identical, some are layed out with the back showing and the ones that are facing front are the front of the package, none of them have been opened, and as stated factory sealed with the original price stamp of 49 cents, none are yellow, but I did add a comment and edited the listing to say it is one package that you are getting in this listing. And to your lastquestion or was it the first, this trim is from the 40`s' inherited from my mothers things and she was born in 1911 and was a seamsdress in Germany by the age of 12 , after being in the concentration camp, so I do know the ago of the items i am posting,
Why do you have a photo showing 5 packages? If this auction is just for 1 package, then you should edit this auction to show a photo of the exact single package that the winner will get. The bidding on this auction will go better for you if your auction description and photo(s) are clear. :)
