the 90's are coming back along with the 80's LOL, oh crap I just dated myself. Yeah all the stores here have the crackle polish again now. They are fun, be sure to put a clear topcoat over them or it peels off fast.
If you have a walgreens store near youcan get them there. This is great polish! I like that you can wear it for days on your fingernails and it still looks good!
I have tried different brand Like OPI, Sally Hansen's, Nabi, Artisan crack those are few crackle brand I've tried so far including this brand. Every Crackle nail polish has it's own match of base color. As my own experienced all Crackle are kind of have the same results only the prices are quite difference. Sally Hansen I don't know if other ladies have experienced this but when I tried sally hansen crackle it don't work at first and then i change my base coat to a sally hansen brand then it works. OPI I think you can use different brand of base coat as well as NABI and I always applied top coat. Artisan they have their own Base coat exclusive for Artisan Crackle. Kleancolor brand when i used it at first it just peeled right off my nails it was flaking and then I changed my base coat and this time i used Metallic silver Revlon brand and then i used top coat. I mean all crackle is all the same it is just a matter of learning on how to use it. I have one very small toe and i applied crackle and it won't crack so i was thinking because it was too small and it wont' shows the crack. Crackle nail polish won't work if you applied it wrong. All Crackle nail polish must applied to a fully dried nails. I will include instructions how to use kleancolor crackle to the winner.
You may have answered this question in the above comments; too lazy to read all the comments... is there another polish that goes along with this to give it the cracked look or does this happen on it's on.
It's okay. You need to have a regular nail polish to paint in your nails and that is your base coat. If you have metallic silver Revlon or any regular nail polish brand that is metallic, shimmer shades, opaque or in creme that would work. I personally use Metallic Silver Revlon brand as my base coat I like the results of it. After your base coat completely dried applied crackle nail polish and wait about 5 minutes to crack. Sorry for my long reply. Thank you for your questions.
Yes, you paint it in your nails and then you have to wait 5 minutes to see the crack in your nails. YOU MUST APPLIED FIRST THE BASE COAT AND ONCE THE BASE COAT COMPLETELY DRIED THEN YOU CAN PAINT THE CRACKLE NAIL POLISH. It is important to follow directions because if not this will not work. This is new fashion trend of a nail polish. You cannot see this in all the store.
okay .not steppin on any toes here this has been goin on with furniture...this is different.ya paint your base coat in piece of furn. let drie than water down white glue. brush on piece. one direction .DO NOT OVER BRUSH. let dry paint alternate color. watch the magic. please dont try on fingers.just a little shabby chic tip. great auction waitin on credss .good luck all
