This O-ring kit is left over from an old job I had. I have no use for so many o-rings and of varying sizes, I'd like to pass them on to the highest bidder that can make good use of them. Nearly all of them are with the kit, I used maybe 4 or 5 since I've purchased it years ago. Great deal for a Mr. Fix it!!!

The box they come in is plastic. The O-rings themselves are plastic/rubber. They will not rust, in fact their purpose is to prevent such a thing. These are usually used as gaskets to seal something, like a faucet or an air hose, to prevent leaks and such. A good kit for a handy man or somone who likes to fix stuff. Anyone else would probably have no use for such an item.
