50 days to harvest. Medium-green, triangular leaves are perfect for baby salad greens. It forms loose upright heads and is slow to bolt. These are heirloom and organically grown seeds from my garden.

Direct sow these seeds early in Spring when the temperature doesn't go below 35 degrees. If you want tender "Spring greens" then plant them closer together. If you want a thicker crispier leaf then thin to 6-8 inches apart.

I planted mine in pots for easy harvest, however, you must keep them evenly moist and this can be an issue when you plant them in pots. Mulching is the key here. As you can see in the photo I also popped a few garlic in with mine!
