The shipping is kind of high for such a high start bid. If it was less I would bid for sure. I love the beanie.

I SO need help with this site!! Haha I was just looking at other auctions trying to get pointers and I really need help!! Lol I am really open to any tips you can offer me and very willing to work with you on the shipping thing.

The first thing that I ever sold on here was a pair of booties i handmade and originally sell on my etsy for around $20. Well it they went for a little over 1000 pts on here and shipping was free to winner but I ended up paying $7 to ship those things !!! So it scared me!! Haha that's why I added a shipping cost this time until I could learn more.. I just can't understand how all these auctions have free shipping! What do they get in return when having to come out of pocket to ship these things when some of these auctions are pretty large !?

Well I get you on the free shipping deal. I simply can't afford to offer free shipping on my auctions unless bidding goes over a certain amount of points. Every 4000 points is like $5 if you look at the buy credits thing it converts it for you.

So basically your starting price for your beanie is $9 which is fair by Etsy standards but here usually they start the bids out at less. There is one lady who does beanies all the time and starts hers off at 499 credits does free shipping and people go crazy bidding over her stuff but she's very established. Another lady starts hers off high between 5000-9000 and it's hit and miss. You just have to build up a reputation for quality products and services and you can do very well here.

You are aware this one fits smaller girls about 1-5 or probably 2-5.. I remember you said your daughter was 8 but wasn't sure if that's who you wanted it for:) if I needed to make another one a different size, it would be a week at least just because I'm backed up at the moment. But maybe not that long.. .. I'd try my best to get it before then.. Just so u know :)

As long as the color is the same it's all good.
