I put them between paper towels (bounty because they are thick) and put them in my mini greenhouse....took 3 days for them to germinate. Then you put the germinated seed into a mix of 50/50 starting soil and vermiticulite, (worm poop) think I spelled that wrong, keep them moist but well drained... mine were put into soil and back into the "mini" this morning, but I have the front half opened so they get fresh air too...they are super easy...all the fancy starting from other websites got me no results, so I tried what my Grannie does and it work! Fanned you as well!
I love this site! you get a little of everything, i love getting rid of my extra seeds here, my neighbors cant keep having the same plants i do...copy cats!
please do, I was thinking about putting some on ebay, but not sure if i want to get rid of anymore until I know if mine are going to produce again this year.
love these! but would be more interested in a start... not seeds. sounds a little complicated to get started without a greenhouse?? do you know what zones they are?? fanned you and watching your other roses too!
oh, you dont have to put them in a greenhouse, there are other ways... heres my favorite website link for starting roses: http://faq.gardenweb.com/faq/lists/rosespro/2003054310016173.html Thanks! Fanned you back!
