The listing, *Used but looks brand new* Messanger bag has ended.

I had bought this at Target about a year ago. I took very good care of it. I don't like lugging a huge purse around and this is why I have decided to give it away! This messanger bag has an expandable strap, two side pockets , and 3 smaller inside pockets. This has been a great use, but like I said, I am in need of it no longer. It can fit three full size academic books inside of it. Its dimensions are 15x9. This bag has a floral pattern on a beige fabric.

can the bag be put across the body? && how long is the strap?

It's not long enough to go across the body. Just long enough to go over the shoulder.
The strap is approximately 24 inches.
