Why is the flat rate shipping price higher then the exact shipping rate?

HI, you had it posted at $4 to ship it in the U.S. I just had two ds games mailed to me today from two different U.S members and the postage only cost $2.50 on them and that was coming from the U.S to Canada.

If you mean that I'm over charging for shipping I'm not. With paypal fees, tracking and the cost of packaging supplies.

I'm not giving you a hard time. No shipping to Canada is fine by me, I have a U.S address that stuff get's shipped to (my mother in-law). Tracking isn't to be covered by the winner, that's on the seller as they are responsibile for making sure it's out and can be tracked if something occurs during shipping this way the moderators are aware that it was infact shipped. Not sure what you mean by "paypal fees"? There isn't an extra charge that get's applied to paypal, can you explain this further to me? Thanks!

You may only charge for:

Actual shipping cost (exact amount, including sales tax or govt. fees charged by the shipping company)
Handling cost (packaging, materials, insurance, etc.)
Delivery confirmation and extra services (tracking, signature, etc.)

Wierd about how it's mentioned in Listia's rules that the winner pays the tracking. A moderator told me that it was the sellers responsibility to guarentee that the item arrives and that tracking be provided so the items whereabout could be traced. I see so many auctions where the seller states tracking will be provided if the winner pays for it, if not tracking won't be provided and they aren't responsibile if it goes missing in the mail.

I know from experience the only way you get less then what you tell the member to pay you is if they are payin you throgh the gift option, that method isn't recommended as if something occurs the member can't file a dispute back through paypal to get their payment back from the member.

I won an auction back in I believe May when I first signed onto Listia and the member told me that shipping was $30 and that I was to pay it through my paypal account. I didnt have paypal at the time and had to get them to tell me how to get it, they did. When my account cleared they told me to send them $30 to their account and click the gift option, well not knowing any better, I did. Month went by, no item was recieved, member stoped emailing me. I had to file a dispute to get my credits back and then needed assistance to get someone to help me get my shipping fees back from the member. Moderator looked into it for me an said their was nothing that I could do as I sent it as a gift and was charge an extra fee for doing it. Now I know not to send any payments as a gift...lol Maybe that's why it's showing as less or is charging you a fee when someone sends you a payment.

oh and by the way, do you have paypal? that is my only option to cover the shipping on the game "if I happen to win it". Thanks

About Bangkok you can fly from Hong Kong for 2- 2.5 hours that all. You can have the best deal for less money. It is cheaper than Hong Kong. Have a good night..
