How does the blade eject? Through the trigger mechanism or a different way?

Please review Picture #3 and #4, if one can see the tab near the front on the pistol that resembles a front sight alignment tab, that is your blade release. Simply slide ones finger from front to rear motion across this point and the spring load will assist the blade release giving you an almost instant blade, almost like the switchblade of the old days but much smother and resistance free action. A wonderful addition to anyones collection and a great gift to a loved one that is a collector of knives, guns or retired military/police weapons.

That's exactly right my friend.
That's the extended tang to deploy the blade. Great design in my humble opinion.
Thank you for that awesome endorsement!

lol, your welcome. I have a "nice" collection myself (my friends words, not my own) I am more into the hand made weapons of the 14th century, those who only wished upon a star for the technology we now a day put into a kitchen knife. and yet falls a bit short of my FNP-45. but this is still A wonderful piece and had I not already had one( similar as mine is black tactical) I would be a bidder but I committed most of my credits elsewhere at this time.

Awesome auctions. I was wondering the size of the actual "pistol" the scale is hard for me to tell cause I have never seen a Listia sticker in person. Cheers.
