Instructions for Ash Vials
1st, remove cork, and make a simple, small, paper funnel.
2nd, fill vial 3/4 full to no higher than top shoulder of vial.
3rd, Wipe opening of vial, where cork sits, with a Q-tip damp with alcohol.
4th, let dry and remove screw eye from cork stopper.
5th, using a good quality glue, I use E6000 found at Jo-Ann's or Walmart, and coat threads of screw eye and reinsert into cork.
6th, now that the vial is dry, coat inside of neck slightly and coat smaller tip of cork. Insert small bottom end of cork into vial down to shoulder height, turn 1/4 turn to smear glue.
7th, let dry completely before moving 1/2 to 1 hr to be sure cork will not fall out.
That is all you need to do. Some have mentioned that they do not wish to see the ash. My suggestion would be to coat the inside, with nail polish of a cleaned with alcohol, then dried vial. Insert nail polish by using a eye dropper into vial and turn vial slowly around on it's side, using only what is needed to cover lower interior of vial, (NO HIGHER THEN SHOULDER). Let dry one full day! Suggested, avoid getting nail polish on neck of vial so to not cause glue to fail.
