How does one know if they are fake? Curious... My 6 yr old loves Pokemon. But he talks about fake ones. So I'm just a clueless mom

Well there's a lot of fake pokemon cards out there. Well I also don't really know about pokemon cards anymore. Some few things I still know is that some have a lot of HP which are fake like 250+HP. Also older cards start off with the # then it says HP and newer ones start with HP then the #. Ex:old 70HP ; newer hp70. Also if the names of the pokemons are misspelled, or if there's any misspelled words in the pokemon card. Also u need to see how big the words are like it has to be a certain size. Also some have a different ability like a water pokemon can't be a fire pokemon unless it's in the delta species series. Also not always but some pokemon cards are meant to be holographic, but if it's not well it's a fake or there's few that can be holographic or not, like ex: I have 2 Arcanines which are same, but one is Holo and the other not but doesn't mean it's fake. Also if it has moves that the pokemon can't do. Like ex: magikarp doing solorbeam or something like that. Also by touching them, it feels a little different from what real ones are. I would recommend u not buying pokemon cards in flea market's or other outside places, u should buy in stores like rite aid, target, Kmart, Wal-Mart, etc. Because stores don't sell fake cards.

For sure there's like a little more but I'm saying 30 fake cards because I don't want the winner to say that I don't know how to count or something bad. But for sure theres atleast some more but hard to tell. But usually all of them I bought from the store or my brother gave me since he had doubles.

Yeah it is what I want is speed up time so I can ship the cards to the winner so they can either keep or sell them, I want to have more space in my little treasure chest.
