As for the dragon on the bottles- it is probably the "Dragon Ink" Brand or the off label one- both which are "Made in China.... I hope that helps. I have used some of it before. It also looks like a 10 coil machine for anyone needing information. These are the Ebay like kits you can get from the China wholesalers. Great for practicing. The only concern people may have and possibly why someone asked if the ink was from China is because they do not meet the same sanitation codes as US inks and in a shops they cannot use them. I liked to use them on practice skins and oranges when I first started... but I also took a risk and put some into my skin once and it was fine so maybe I got lucky and maybe it is hype.... but this is a nice kit and i need a 2nd power supply so I will be bidding on this closer to the end! Just to let you know, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'contact us' and request that a moderator change the auction to show that it's free shipping. You would get a massive amount of bids, if it shows up in the search results for free shipping.
As far as inks, I also use the Chinese ones for practice and teaching my son to tattoo. My personal preference for actual tattoos would be Skin Candy also known as Bloodline. The colors are bright and don't seem to fade. My family has tats that are as much as 10 years old and still look as fresh as when they were done.

I have Chinese ink at home (it has 2 dragons on it) they say its not good to use because it has lead, arsenic, and other harmful chemicals in it But if you are just starting or want to practice it is good for that. If you do decide to use it on skin be cautious.

I second this comment!!!!! I also have UV ink in my skin which has been there for years which has phosphorus (sp?) in it. There are so many chemicals in everything now a days. I am certain there is less arsenic in there than accidentally swallowing an apple seed! But it is good to be cautious- I still stand by USA inks. I am in love with National tattoo ink at the moment! Just tried them this week and it is unlike anything I have ever used!!
