Thanks for visiting us at THE CHARMED COTTAGE! Here is a vintage 1940 booklet SEW AND SAVE. This was published by the Spool Cotton Company during World War II, encouraging homemakers to sew their own clothes in an effort to save money and therefore help the war effort. This booklet provides sewing instructions for the beginner. 49 pages. In very nice condition.

F&W&B~~ I'm Loving All Your Auctions!! I'm Finding them Fasinating!! I Used to own my own business ( small ) and had sewn for a Quilt Shop since I was 14 yrs old. Do you happen to have books with doll patterns or old ones?? I would be interested!! ;0)

I may have some vintage books with doll patterns, or some older doll patterns themselves. I will look and if so, will list them. I never know what I will find in my 'travels', so be sure to check back. As you can see, I love vintage crochet, knitting, sewing, linens, etc. Thanks so much!!
