Up for auction is a package of 20 Chinese Yellow pear shaped tomato seeds.
Grow your yellow tomatoes in area of partial sun, you can grow these in a pot indoors or outdoors in the ground. But if the temperatures get extraordinarily hot, provide the plants with a bit of shade during the hottest hours of the afternoon. To prevent mold and decay, use soil with adequate draining. Plant seeds at least 6" apart in a pot, or 18-20 inches apart in the ground, and only cover about 1/4 to 1/2" with soil over the top. (Don't put all 20 seeds in one pot. Each pot should only require 2 to 3 seeds.)
Water your tomatoes frequently, they prefer an adequate supply of water. A fertilizer treatment helps control the growth of vines. Choose a fertilizer product with a lower ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus and potassium, as nitrogen tends to inhibit fruit development. Takes about 70-80 days from germination to growth of fruit.
