My mom told me they are very messy and break when the wind blows. I dont care I still love the look of them and want them and if dont get them off here was gonna buy some when we closed on our house the end of the month! In ur opinion are they any messier than a pecan or pine tree, we have those and I hate them because they break so easy and are so messy! At least these are pretty!!

well the leafs are very big and they do lose them in the fall but they should rot easy on the count they are not thick like a silver maple you can just cut them up with a mower and they will turn in to fertilize as they rot and that will help everything grow
as far as how easy they brake i don't know mine is still small
but it is growing very very fast about 1-2 inchs a day it has 1 new set of leafs each day
