Made of Mylar which retains body heat. These are great for camping trips. Just great to have for emergency cover period. I keep a couple in my vehicle to make sure if it goes dead on me (praying it doesn't) that at least I'll have something to cover myself with from the outside weather (snow, rain, wind).
