20GB Hard Disk Drive HDD for Microsoft Xbox 360 & Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Cable ~ I have never owned an Xbox, I had gotten this for a friend but I didn't know she had the Xbox Slim, so it's useless for me.
Unfortunately when I plug it in my laptop It doesn't even show up on therefore I have no idea what's inside or anything.

I am a Listia verified member. Just look at my history, I don't believe I need to put a piece of paper with my name on it anymore.

No, I was told it would not fit, and that it only works for an Xbox 360. I myself have never owned a game system and could not tell you from personal experience.

Nope, sorry. After I put up my TV, I gave all my HDMI cords to that winner. I haven't gotten a TV so I don't need any.

I personally just need the transfer cable since my old 360 died but I still have the memory, would this transfer all data to another xbox 360?

I couldn't answer that for you, given that I never owned a game system before. I don't know how transferring works. But I'm pretty sure if you asked around someone could tell you. Sorry, and thanks. Fanned.

I hope you don't mind me answering some of these questions for you. The transfer cable will allow you to retrieve
the data of any old style hard drive and move it to any Xbox 360. Also while the hard drive itself will not fit on the slim model, using the transfer cable , you can attach this hard drive to a slim like an external drive. You will have full access to it.

does anyone know if you can hook any usb device to an xbox 360 and transfer data like on halo 4 with the temporary files that you can then save to the hard drive

You can throw save files from your hard drive to the pc. With the data transfer cable, last time I used nodded save files or thing of that sort I hard to use the hard drive transfer cable. It leads me to believe to transfer save files you have to go through the computer, and can't really upload or download them straight from the Xbox via USB port.
