Hi, I don't know if you already found the answers you were looking for about lowering the auction days, but thought I'd comment anyway just in case your still needing answers to help you out, we all were newbies at one time! ;) So here's the deal.... you can change anything you want to about your auctions, you can lower or raise the days, change the start bid, shipping cost, title, description and even delete it if you want to.... UNTIL THERES A BID PLACED! After the first bid is placed, even if it's only 1 credit all you can do from that point on is add things, you can't take away or change anything from the original auction terms, and yes, that includes changing the # of days you set the auction for, so if it was originally set for 20 days but before the first bid was placed you decided to change it to 7 days and then your first bid came in, you can't go back and change it to 20 days.... However, if it's to the bidders advantage, to an extent you can change the shipping terms. For example, if you were originally charging a $5.00 shipping fee but then you decided you want to change it to free shipping so that you'd get more credits bid, you can change it to free shipping whether there's a bid or no bids.... But after that 1st bid is placed you can't change the auction terms that were agreed to when the bidders placed their bids, meaning if you start off an auction offering free shipping but then right after someone places a bid you decide that you just can't pay for shipping right now & you want the buyer to pay the shipping cost..... Weeeell..... Hunny...... That's just to bad bc if the auction terms stated free shipping when the 1st bid came in that means you and that bidder entered into a contract with certain predetermined terms in place and free shipping was one of those terms! Sorry so long.... I didn't realize how much I've wrote! Eeeeekkkk! Nice auction BTW! I'm watching and I will be fanning you too! Oh and for what it's worth, Welcome to Listia!
OHG, it's still in the box and in great condition. Best of luck hun, this is a collector's dream, and you could ask listia to put this the " Collectors" instead of Electronics, but that would be your call fannd you for sure, annd like the gentleman before me said, Welcome to Listia!!
Ok, thanks for that.. Btw, it also takes batteries, so could you check the machine.. Cos if it doesn't work, I don't want to bid on another broken item, thanks.
lol.. I'm listening to Boston (Don't Look Back) in the lovely cassette recorder that I won on Listia few months ago (the person also posted a video of her using the tape player, but the player cannot be used to record, which is what I need, a cassette recorder)
I don't have the adapter for the electrical part of plugging it in I'll see if I can find one and get back with you because I don't know if it actually works all I have is that little piece in the picture that's was all that was in the box I'll get back with you hun
