Bought this unique amulet pendant at a New Age type of shop a number of years ago. This Buddha is displayed in a sturdy silvertone metal case frame with see through hard type of plastic like lucite. The case is sealed and does not open. The Buddha looks like a mini bas-relief(sculpture in which the figure projects slightly from the background). The material could be some sort of hard type of plaster, carved stoned or other material. Amulets like this are known to give a person good fortune(maybe it will bring you luck). Measurements of Amulet: 1-1/2" h. X 1" w. X 1/2" d.(approx.), black cord measurement: 23" long(can be re-tied for a different length). The back of this amulet has some foreign symbols(don't know what they mean). Excellent condition. This pendant makes an interesting necklace.
