You are bidding on 10 garlic chive bulblets that I got from a local grower.
Garlic chives are an Asian relative of garlic. Their flavor is similar to garlic, maybe a little milder. But once planted, they increase like chives or "bunching" onions, so they need not be replanted every year. To use them, once you have pulled one bulb from a clump, remove outer peeling and slice like you would a scallion. One bulb is roughly equivalent to one clove of standard garlic.

They can be planted now, or any time until mid-spring; they need some cool weather to send down roots. Most people let the new plants mature for a year before picking from them.
