Shells appear to be 100% natural, un-dyed, un-painted. I've found a few strands of thin elastic thread mixed in, so I'm thinking they may have been Hawaiian leis or a lamp shade or something in the past.

Like snowflakes, each shell in this lot is totally unique. Some are plain, others have delicate stripes and unique patterns. Colors include a beautiful pastel palette of creams and yellows, blue-ish to purple, white and gray.

Some shells are fractured, chipped or broken, as expected from being all bagged together. The majority of them appear to be in great shape, though.

I have no idea how old these are or where they may have originally come from, but they would be perfect for arts and crafts.

Great colors to match nicely to burlap fabric as shown (not included). Dress up candle holders and centerpieces for a beach or summer wedding!

Thin and easy to drill and string as beads for jewelry making. Assemble and glue into a mosaic. Add to the bottom of your fish tank. Crush and add to reptile habitats or flower planters for a natural calcium supplement.
