This is a locking "pill buster razor" The frame go's all the way back to the end of the civil war. Because of the large number of men who had lost a hand or an entire arm they needed a knife that could be opened and closed w/ one hand. That's why the blade has the small curve at the end it can be placed at the top of the pocket opened and then of course depress the locking bar and close against your leg. So this a very old frame steeped in history. The knife is 7&1/2" over all w/ the blade being 3&1/2". Has nickel silver bolsters, brass pins and liners. Knife is new in the box. Beautiful blue almost violet feather jigged bone handles. I am putting this one up for auction because I saw another one listed and more wanting it than could have it. This knife has German steel and assembled by hand in Pakistan. So for those who could not get the other one here's another. As always GOOD LUCK in this and in all of your endeavors. This knife is built very tight w/ a good snap open and close and no gaps in the back springs.
