because of wearing it at the beach I Live near salt water it would be nice to know if the metal can withstand even fresh water , sand or salt water Most chains turn color only a couple of days after I wear them if not real metal because apparently I have skin more alkaline , something like that ,it's pretty common HOWEVER There are some VERY Good metals / materials that aren't real gold or silver THAT DO Hold up extremely well , I believe Avon jewelry used to not turn on me I Say used to ONLY Because I haven't tried anything from them in over 15 years and things may have changed SO IF YOU DO Find out MORE ABOUT THE DURABILITY OR Type of metal PLEASE Let us know I LOVE THIS VERY MUCH , Who wouldn't its a beautiful piece and a wonderful accessory

i can totally relate! Except I'm allergic to most metals. I'm doing some digging and research to see if I can find anything else out on this. If I can't find anything or can't find anything before the auction closes, sadly I would suggest not bidding because I wouldn't want you to be unhappy IF the metal is not what you hoped for.
