Second picture is the baby tree you won!!!
Bay Rum tree, with the botanical name Pimenta racemosa, is a small sized tree, about 4 to 12 meters tall with shiny, dark green leaves and white flowers measuring about 10 mm wide which will eventually become black, oval fruits when ripened. This tree is closely related to allspice as they both come from the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). It originated and is a native plant of the Caribbean region. Currently, many tropical countries including Oceania, are already engaged in planting bay rum tree due to the rising demand of its by-products. This type of plant loves to thrive in warm-weathered countries as constant sunshine and irrigation is much needed for a healthier growth.
Bay Rum oil has been widely used to ease the pain and troubles of common physical ailments. A few drops of the diluted oil can already make a difference to the ones using it. In addition, the oil should be diluted or mixed with a lesser toxic oil as recommended by experts.
