As most of my friends will tell you, I am a writer. I think the book I've written that I'm most proud of is Myra's Garden. The main heroine, Myra is a character inspired by my own grandmother. The character, ( and my grandmother,) were both renowned cooks. Much of what I learned in the kitchen was learned under her watchful eye. I loved most everything she cooked, but this hearty, delicious soup has been a favorite go to for feeling better in our family ever since I can remember. Nothing can make your insides feel better when you're under the weather like a hot bowl of homemade chicken soup.
