Silly question... Do u just light these sticks as is and go from room to room cleansing? I've never used before but I'm very interested!!

Not a silly question at all! Essentially, yes. The smoke cleanses the area in which it is used. And you pay special attention to the spaces that you use the most or that feel the most negative. And you "smudge" yourself as well, clearing away anything unwanted that has attached itself to your being( bad moods, anxiety, worry, stress etc)

babyblue if you light this and walk from room to room with a door or window open it allows the negativity to leave your home you must open the door or window tho because it has to have a way out you let the smoke linger in each area of the home or office

Smudge Sticks have been used in several ceremonies by many of the Southwest Indian tribes. To cleanse yourself, you should be naked and with the stick smoking, draw the smoke to you and over you and around you using both hands cupped to hold the smoke. I always disperse negativity this way at least monthly if not weekly!
