The listing, RARE CHINESE INSIDE REVERSE HAND PAINTED WITH BIRDS AND FLOWERS SNUFF BOTTLE BEAUTIFUL!!! has ended.
Rare Chinese inside reverse hand painted Peking glass snuff bottle with different birds on each side and cherry blossoms. Beautiful Stands 3 inches tall. Qing dynasty 1644 A.D. to 1912 A.D. Happy Bidding!
This is called a snuff bottle not suff bottle lol. During the Chinese Qing dynasty 1644 A.D. to 1912 A.D. the Chinese outlawed tobacco use. So Chinese craftsmen designed one of a kind Chinese snuff bottles to carry their powdered tobacco in during this Dynasty. They are now considered by the Chinese government as national treasures and the Chinese want their snuff bottles back and are willing to pay huge sums of money to accomplish this. Hope that answers your question. Fanned you back. Good Luck bidding too.
