Here are 4 common Lincoln Cent ‘errors’. These are basically caused by deterioration in the die after many coins are struck. Included are the ‘BIE’ error where LIBERTY appears to be misspelled. Also the ‘extra wheat’ due to cracking in the reverse die. Ant thre is a ‘rim’ error. And last one with the lower part of the ‘B’ in LIBERTY is filled in.
