Up for auction is a 1982 The Lord of the Rings RCA SelectaVision 2-VideoDisc Set. The VideoDisc has been tested on my player and works just fine. You most likely won’t have the device to play this VideoDisc on but if you are a fan of The Lord of the Rings, this is just the conversation piece that you need for your collection. Featuring vibrant art and stills on the front and back of the 13 inches by 14 inches disc. The outside casing features some discoloration that has occurred over the last three decades plus as well as some slight tears in the label but is in overall good condition. So that was what those players were called. I went to a boarding school in the early 80s and one of my houseparent use to have movie nights, and I think this was the device he had. There is a disc inside right?
