This auction is for a 8gb Ipod Touch Gen 4 this ipod was dropped and now has just a white screen however it still works if you know where to touch on the screen. was told it can be fixed but do not have the money fix it at this time it will be restored to factory settings before shipped

if any of internet solution would have worked it woul not be on here not to sound like a ass but there is only a few diff solution hard reset (home and lock 15sec) , full restore, and smacking it on you hand repeatedly like I mentione it previous xomments it is the lcd I can't afford to fix it so the winner gets a fifty dollar ipod touch or a free ipod shuffle as it still works if you know where on the screen to touch

Yup, this is a good deal, even if you use the GIN. Its a cheap fix, less then $47 if you go to ebay you can get a screen and tools for $20, or buy another broken ipod touch and use that for parts, you'll need more in the future so thats a good idea too. I fix these all the time, its not super duper easy for first timers, but once you get use to what you need to do and the tricks, it gets alot easier as you learn. And yes the seller is correct, theres plenty of good how to videos on youtube. I love the ding dongs above trying to give you cheesy internet "tricks" that they think will fix it. The best one was the kid that said "that should do it, after it works secretly message me and ill buy it before anyone else knows it works". Gotta love how people try to screw you out of credits and make it sound like they're doing you a favor by ripping you off. Like if that did work you would say ya, ok, thank you for ripping me off, here is my ipod now fully working for the price of a broken one. Lol. I migght use the GIn if no one else does real soon.

there are alot of local places that advertise on craigslist that do same day repairs for 50 or less. Just depends on where you look. Hope someone snags up the GIN i think it's a great deal.
