Is it solid sterling, sterling filled or sterling plated? Jewelry will be stamped .925 rergardless...technically an electroplated silver ring will classify as 'sterling silver' but the finish will dull if worn. I have been disappointed in the past with rings I have won here and on ebay, so I always ask.
