The listing, Japanese Maple Tree Seeds- Tiered auction has ended.
You are starting off bidding for 8 Japanese Maple Seeds. If bidding goes over 500 I will make it 12 and over 1000 I will make it 20 seeds.
These seeds are fresh from the tree!
These seeds can be kept in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator until you are ready to plant. Just check in on them every couple of weeks, if they appear dry add one drop of water to the bag.
When you are ready to germinate your seeds:
Break wings off the seeds.
Fill a cup with warm water and put seeds in to soak for 24-48 hours.
Gently peel off the outer coating of the seeds.
Place the seeds in a wet paper towel to germinate.
Keep towel moist but not sopping wet as to avoid mold.
When seeds start to sprout plant them in a pot with high quality potting soil.
After the threat of frost in the spring plant them in the ground.
More information on the care of these trees can be found on the web. They also make fabulous bonsai trees!
I have a lot going on right now and a very busy family so shipping will be within 7 days of the bidding closing.
Enjoy and thanks for bidding!
