Straight Talk being a "Wal-Mart" brand does things a little funny. for instance the "Straight Talk ZTE Majesty 796C" is really released by tracfone and uses the Verizon towers (Network) but is branded as Straight Talk and uses Straight Talk pre-paid cards

Just a few mouths old I can l only used it for a month

Only use the phone for about a month its on the Verizon network I do not get good signal in the area I live in my head to move to a different carrier

I'm confused. All straight talk phone are gsm & use sim card. I don't think verizon is compatible.

straight talk does have GSM phones but they also have phones that are not GSM and work off the AT&T and Verizon Networks. "The ZTE Majesty 796C" works off the Verizon network and does not have a GSM mode. the only slot on the phone is for a Micro-SD card
