It even has a little kick out stand so you can stand it up or you can hang on wall.Comes with instructions, battery in compartment, plus 10 extra batteries. It is a cool little gadget and works perfectly.

as loud as you would usually expect from a little gizmo. i wouldn't count on it to wake you unless you sleep lightly. it's great to use as a reminder.
