I took this shot loader off my Quake® Claw™ Muzzleloader Sling because I like to keep individual loads in my pocket. It has never been used and would make a great loader by itself. If you want to try it on your sling, the slot is "2 wide.

Great question. My .50 cal Hornady bullet slides right in with a just a hair of room on the sides. I had originally intended to use it with .50 cal.since that's what I own. Although sabots are illegal in Colorado, I imagine a saboted bullet would fit more snugly.
