The listing, old hollywood glamour custom made dress size S has ended.

I purchased this an a very impressive estate auction. It was custom made. The tag says size 8 but I wear a 0 - 4 and it fits me perfectly. It did have shoulder pads that I removed. This would make a lovely beach cover-up or night shirt. It was designed to be worn as a dress. Dry clean only because of the giant rhinestone buttons. The diamond pattern in the photos is just from me ironing it with steam. The diamonds launder out. I do this all the time no matter how much padding I put on my board. There is a tiny rust spot on one of the sleeves that is so small it does not show up in photos. There are a couple snags that are also too tiny to show up in photos. I have no way of knowing history of exposure to eg, pets, smoke, fragrance so if you are sensitive do not risk pre-owned garments. I am sure Liz Taylor or Bette Davis would have loved this dress! Happy Bidding on my treasure!!! The buttons are so big and brilliant!!!

it is too late :( it buttons from top to bottom. someone will get a nice surprise for sure when they see how gorgeous it is but i do not blame you for not bidding on a dress you cannot see.

Ok this cannot be a custom made dress if it has the size tag in it. I make a ton of clothing for people and no one gets a tag or even washing instructions. If this is fitting you as a size 8 when you are a size 4 then someone put water on it at sometime and it shrank. Or the size 8 of yesteryear is the todays size 4. One or the other don't ya think?

Actually they changed the proportions on sizes in the 70's , to accommodate bigger women, the one thing that hasn't changed is wedding dresses most women who buy a wedding dress always has to buy it 2-3 sizes larger than everyday clothes. Would love to see the full front though

i always measure instead of going by sizes even now the tags do not always match and forget about anything chico's makes. they have their own sizes. whoever told me it was not custom made go away LOL. years ago some designers usually tagged their creations. it was not factory mass produced. oh sorry about the picture of the entire dress from the front being missing! i posted it. it buttons down the front and i would not have listed it if any of the original gorgeous buttons were missing. i am going to ask listia if i can stop the auction or add photos. you should be able to see what is being auctioned off.

LOL @ lonliest dove. so what if you make a ton of clothing for people. you did not make this back in the 40's or 50's. go away. it is too late for me to add photos. it is also impossible to even contact listia with an issue. the front buttons all the way down.
