Description

The listing, Plus Size 3X 22/24 Sun Dress or Top has ended.

This Auction is for a Cute Dress or Tunic Top with an Empire Waist. Made by Catalina, this makes a great light weight summer dress or Swim Suit cover. It is almost Brand New b/c as soon as I put it on I realized that it was too big for me to wear. So I never wore it out it has been worn once and washed once. There is no pilling or anything on that. However please look closely at all the pics.

This is a Size 3X or Women's Plus Size 22/24
The following is the Catalina Size Chart for their Size 3X or 22/24
Bust/Waist/Hips
Size 3X 22W 48½ 40½ 50½
22/24 24W 50½ 42½ 52½

Please make sure you go by the Size Chart as I copy/pasted it right from their website. Your knowledge of your body size is going to tell you much more about the fit than I ever could as it is your body and I have provided exact measurements from the company.
I will speak to the length. I am 5'4" and it came to my knees. So you can go from their on how long it will be on you. I personally like mine for summer to be lower to mid thigh and this was to long for me at the knee.
Now for the part I hate but gotta do with clothes: I live in a Smoke Free and Pet Friendly home. Now while my clothes are kept in a pet free room I can't promise an errant hair won't get transferred during packaging. Also I live in a smoke free home however, I have watched all over the country, Postal Worker smoking in their vehicles, in front and behind of Post Offices. I can't be responsible for what happens with the package as it travels our USPS so my policy is YOU BID IT YOU KEEP IT. I like fun and friendly people to trade with so setting the guide lines saves misunderstandings later.
. Thank you for stopping by and having a look. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
~Namaste

Oh, did you know, they use Chemotherapy to treat severe MS cases in hopes of killing MS, letting body reset, AND have been successful?!?! Perhaps a hidden blessing for you??
Be Well.

I have Cancer and I can say that Chemo was WAY worse than the cancer. Because the problem is it kills all your cells. They are hoping it kills the Cancer before it kills you. There are so many alternatives to chemo for Cancer treatment and now they are really making Chemo so specific for the Cancer that they are doing wonders on lessening the side of Cancer. Since Cancer is a BILLIONS of dollars business each year I don't believe they want to find a "cure" b/c that would seriously cut their profits. However I do think that for MS if it works ROCK ON b/c I think it must be frustrating as all get out to be trapped inside you body and no hope of getting better. So if they have found that Chemo is a good treatment then I am so happy for the millions of people who would now have hope where there was none before. As for me most of my long term issues are side effects of the Chemo. So I tell everyone that having Cancer was a breeze but the treatment was sheer H'ello! lol However, my prognosis was good b/c I found it early and so I agreed to it b/c my 8 year old deserved to have a Mommy. However if I was faced with the same situation and my son was grown and the prognosis was only a 50/50 it would work then I would seriously question the benefits. As I do not believe it is the number of years we have on the this earth but the quality of the life on the earth then I would rather be relatively healthy person doing something for my remaining time left than a very sick one just to prolong my life. Only God knows all the answers and I would have to trust him. Sorry I don't mean to be grim on a Monday morning but after getting a rare Cancer for some who was so young the things I have learned and wish I had known before is just astounding. There isn't enough room to write it all down here. My hubby keeps wanting me to write a book. about it all but I think even that would take several volumes. =)

Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment and for stopping by to take a look. I really loved them as well. I really think it is a lovely tunic and/or dress. I just know that someone else can put it to use while if I were to keep it I will let it sit in my closet and feel guilty for buying it without trying it on. This way we both win=) Cancer took 169 lbs and counting off my body really quickly so it took me almost a year for my actual size to catch up with my brain. So it really is in great condition and I really hope whoever wins will enjoy it! Thank you so much and best wishes should you decide to bid on this or any other auctions you are watching here on Listia! Have a beautiful night and a better tomorrow. ~Namaste

I hate to hear about the cancer... My life has been touched by this devastating illness, too. I'm glad you got at least a tiny bit of good in the form of weight loss (though it's surely not a recommended diet plan). Praying for healthy paths ahead and blessings for you.

I really appreciate your well wishes and I hope that however Cancer touches your life you don't let yourself be defined by it but motivated to make a difference by it. Thank you so much for the energy of a prayer because I am so aware of it's value and it is so appreciated. Thank you for stopping by and for "reading" my rambling. May your Friday be Fabulous! ~Namaste

Happy Monday morning again my friend. This is pretty. I gained 125lbs doing an MS study with female hormones/pregnancy hormones... which has always wreaked havoc ln my body... Graves Disease, Mini Stroke etc.... so any way this would be nice. BUT I am a giving person ;©) (wink, wink, nidge, nudge) so I am more than willing to give you some of my weight. If only it were so easy, huh?

LOL you are right if only it were that easy. I hope that you still have enough mobility to try and take the weight off. It reminds me of an old Roseann Bar Joke, "I wish they could put a liposuction place next door to the Anorexia Nervousa treatment center....." the rest of the joke is just too off color to tell in mixed company but you pretty much said the gist of it. LOL Thanks so much for stopping by and may your Monday continue to be Marvelous. =) ~Namaste

Thank you so much for your kind words and I honor your gift of energy in my direction b/c I truly understand their value. I am on the mend and basically just waiting to see if we got it all and dealing with the myriad of side effects from the treatment. So thank you so much and because I had so many wonderful people sending me energy and love and light I am so much luckier than most women my age when they get it b/c they don't look for it in young adults them most women die b/c by the time they find it then i's already too late. But I am one of the very few lucky ones because I knew something was wrong and I kept screaming until they did something about it. lol Assertiveness in Healthcare....what every woman must have to survive. =)

Aluuna, I think you should write a book. I can help proof it for you. Seriously. You have such positivity and insight that I believe it would be extremely beneficial today someone trying to decide what path to follow. I for one said I would not do Chemotherapy. I think my Mother wanted to make the same choice, but since I had just had her first Granddaughter she did every treatment they could do. I had told her I would help her and stand by any decision she made. That was 1996. Cancer $u©©s. Lost Mom & Older Brother, in the last 5 years and awesome neighbor within this last decade. The last 2 suffered horribly but went fairly fast. Momma was a fighter, and suffered through for 13 years. I understand wanting to be there for your son, mine is 16, but I plan and hope to be around for many years to come.

You asked about my mobility... I went from Kickboxing, Cycling 5 to 20 miles/morning, walking 5 - 11 miles, swimming until pruney.. tanning then swimming some more in 2011 to being stuck in bed a few days a week, riding an adult tricycle rarely due to energy and usually just around the block a few times... maybe a mile max, and on my best day, I can NOT do more than 1 1/2 miles of walking and usually do so with a rollator. Most meals are made from my wheelchair. Soooo as. far as the mobility to lose the weight.... not really.... BUT can still do short workouts and try to bank my energy for big family things.

Be Well. I am serious about the book.

Thank you for your encouragement! That means so much to me and I appreciate you offering to proof read it. When I get to that point I may take you up on it. My hubby use to be an editor for a publishing company in his spare time (He was a Soldier full time) So it makes me crazy to have him proof read anything I write.. lol I know for the next year I will be super busy as my son who is home schooled is learning how to read and that is taking a HUGE amount of time. I appreciate the wonderful encouragement and your belief in me. I do have some pamphlet sized books from some of the classes I have taught but they are all on holistic healing modalities, Starting a meditation practice, Finding your Inner Divine, and several "how to's" on learning to trust and develop your Intuitive Gifts. So I have done some writing but I majored in Psychology after many years of working on a Degrees in Musical Theatre. lol So my Bachelor's Degree ended up being a double Major in Psychology and Theater with a minor in music and religions studies.. LOL So that was my bachelors degree I promise I narrowed the focus when I got my Master's and Doctorate. Anyway I am rambling but the point is simply a big THANK YOU for being such a blessing in my life. Here's to hoping that your Tuesday is Terrific! ~Namaste
