Yes it comes with ink, the ink is factury sealed so not sure if tis dryed out or not...Yes it uses a USB cable you can plug your camera directly ino the printer or to your computer---i am prety sure you can pick and choise what pictures you want to print out (manuel Printing) i have to look in the user guide to make sure but i can see why not ..

I have a canon camera does it use the lil slot to put the memory card or does it use the usb, also a helpfull hint when u write back click the "blue reply" that way when u write us back it will be high lighted in blue so we can more easily see you comments, thanks hope to hear from you soon

I like this thing... only $29 per 108 prints on Canon Selphy CP400 compared to
$76 of inks & sheets for 100 prints on my Canon MX300. That's a huge savings for instant prints.

This is not ink jet, so in theory, nothing to dry out. Print method is dye-sublimation thermal transfer (with overcoating). Think of colored cellophane with color panels that are melted onto special paper to create a photo.

The main advantage of the canon selphy model line is that it is a compact photo printer and you get exactly what you buy in supplies. 108 sheets means 108 photos with no low ink issues.
