Tracy Porter TEA FOR ONE teapot & cup with handpainted pears & floral pattern. Light multi-color themed.

Measurements: approx 6" tall (put together with tea pot lid) X 4 1/2" dia at the widest.

Tea pot measures 6 3/4" from handle to tip of spout X 4 1/2" tall to top of lid.

Cup measures 4 1/2" dia at mouth X 2 1/2" tall

Can you tell me how to heat the water. Is it heat resistant to be placed on a burner on low

It might be better to heat the water separately in the microwave then pour it into the teapot to seap. This is hand painted and really decorative and I would hate to take the chance of ruining the colors. Just a thought!
