These are neat - marvelous primary color and just enough pattern to make it interesting. I'd go with a really dark red agate, or better still, dark carnelian in a variety of cuts: smallish 4, 6, 8mm rounds with the occasional cube, tube and barrel. Work out a pattern of 6 to 8 different beads and repeat it - all in the same color. The variety of cuts will prevent boredom, and being all of one color will keep it from being 'busy.'
