Operates on two AA batteries (not included). It also has an express button on the front that can be pushed at any time for an immediate burst of spray. Uses the small cans of spray 6.17 oz Air Wick has them (not included), and I used the ones at Dollar General same size and costs about half of what Air Wick cans cost (not included). Can be placed on tabletop and also has an indention on back for wall hanging if desired. Clean and in good condition.
